not about the end product

i was watching agony aunts, and judith lucy commented that she had found the dreadfully prosaic, sometimes  love isn't enough, to be true

i had a similarly ordinary revelation while flipping through louise bourgeois's insomnia drawings - some are rubbish, in fact i only "liked" 10 or so images out of a 2 inch book.  but the thing about art (and life) is - it's not about the end product, it's about experimenting, and not caring if you stuff up. get messy
